Selling Your Dental Practice
If you are thinking about selling your practice, the Samera team can help you decide whether it is the right time to do it, and the right price.
Our team will carry out a free consultation by looking at your Financial Statements to determine if it is the right time to sell.
From this point you will be offered two services:
- Selling your practice services
- Planning your exit strategy services
Selling your practice services
If you decide to take up the services of Samera to assist you with the sale of your practice you will benefit from the following:
- A Free valuation of the business -
This involves carrying out a valuation that will provide you with an accurate and realistic market value of the dental practice including goodwill, fixtures and fittings, based on prior year accounts.
However, the free valuation will only be applicable if Samera Ltd is the sole agent marketing the sale of the practice for a minimum period of 12 weeks.
- In the event the client decides to use another agent in conjunction with our services then a standard fee of £995+VAT will be charged for the valuation service.
- If a buyer is found for you, and a sale proceeds, Samera charge a 1% +VAT fee on the value of the full transaction (for the sale of the business and any associated property assets)
- From the outset of the process our team will work together with our clients and get the sales prospectus ready to be provided to prospective buyers. The prospectus will give an accurate and fair reflection of the practice fundamentals that will enable buyers to make a quick decision on whether to go ahead with the purchase of the practice.
- You can be assured that during and after the sale process confidentiality will be maintained at the highest standard.
- Although we offer both buyer and seller services we pride ourselves in never offering services to both the buyer and seller involved in the sale of the respective practice. We can give assurance to our clients that if we are their agents for the sale of their practice we will work solely in their interest and will not be offering buyer advice and support to prospective buyers so as to eliminate the conflict of interest that would have arisen if it was the case.
Planning your exit strategy
After carrying out the initial consultation, the Samera team will advise you whether we believe that it is the appropriate time to sell your practice.
There are many occasions where at the time of the consultation if the client wishes to sell their practice it will not be sold at its highest achievable value.
With this is mind we have designed a service where a strategic analysis of the practice is carried out and invaluable recommendations taking into consideration the personal and business goals are provided to you to implement over a set period of time so as to boost the practice figures.
This service involves following the practice performance over that set period of time and assessing whether they are implementing the recommendations properly.
After the set period of time the client can go ahead with the sale of the practice and hence reap a higher sale price.
The Samera team will then assist you in the sale of the practice over the set period of time.
Please get in touch if you wish for Samera to help you get your practice ready for sale.
