100 Smiles

One Thousand Smiles this Christmas

Help us get 1000 gifts to disadvantaged kids during COVID 19

This Christmas, our mission is simple; to bring 1,000 smiles to 1,000 children with 1,000 presents.

We want YOUR help making sure that as many disadvantaged children as possible get the chance to open at least one good present on Christmas morning.

Why are we doing this?

Christmas will be very different this year. In the last 12 months:

  • There has been a 95% increase in food parcels given out to households with children
  • A record 1.9 million food parcels have been given out
  • 900,000 more children have requested free meals since the start of the pandemic.
  • The Trussell Trust predicts a 61% increase in the use of food banks between October and December.

With unemployment rising, use of food banks on the up and families across the nation struggling to make ends meet, many children face a cold, hungry Christmas.

Our goal is to bring at least one smile to as many of these children as we possibly can. We may not be able to fix everything, but we can absolutely make sure they receive at least one good present this year.

That’s why we’re launching 1,000 Smiles. You can either send us a gift as detailed above or make a donation to the cause and we will use all your funds to buy a suitable gift.

What about COVID 19?

Despite the current restrictions due to the pandemic, we will endeavour to deliver these gifts well before Christmas.

Donations will be left in quarantine for a number of days before delivery to prevent any contamination.

We will follow all the government guideline advice to ensure the safety of our team, donors and gift recipients.
