Max began his career in the U.K. as a successful sales manager within the healthcare and hospital sector.

He joined ADP Dental group in 2008 as Head of Mergers & Acquisitions and he actively helped the group to achieve acquisitions of 132 dental practices, including negotiations and deal completions of single sites and groups. The Company was acquired by Mydentist (previously IDH) in 2011, during which time he continued offering his support to the acquisitions team.

He joined IMH group and continued his effort within the M&A of healthcare practices, predominantly dental and general practitioner sites across the UK.

He has been actively involved in the recruitment of European dentists in the U.K. and was recently recognized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce as a Finalist of the Talented Young Italian Award 2016 for the Finance Category, for his effort in contributing to build bridges between the U.K. and Italy creating jobs and opportunities for young professionals.

He completed a Business Study course in Perugia, Italy, and is a qualified Sports Physiotherapist from St Mary`s University, Twickenham.

With over a decade of experience within the Merger and Acquisitions of healthcare practices in the U.K., Max`s skills and knowledge are outstanding. He has very successfully helped hundreds of dentists and other healthcare professionals to buy and sell their practices.

Max has a positive attitude both in life and business and his pleasant and personable manner is infectious. He possesses an innate “can do“ attitude, and he always makes the most of every prospect and finds a way to create new opportunities.

When he is not busy valuing, buying and selling practices he loves walking barefoot on sandy beaches and hiking on top of mountains, especially Mount Cucco National Park in the Umbria region in Central Italy where he is originally from.
He has a passion for science, astronomy, music and travel.

Nigel Crossman
Nigel CrossmanHead of Commercial Finance
Nigel Crossman joined the Samera Group in May 2016 from the Royal Bank of Scotland where he was the Head of Healthcare for the London and South East region.

He has extensive banking experience having spent thirty eight years working for two major high street banks during which time he built up a huge network of contacts. These contacts now span the financial network providing access to all of these financial institutions for Samera clients having been placed on their broker panels.

Nigel worked in many branches of National Westminster Bank and spent 15 years in their Recoveries and Insolvency department dealing with all types of business and their problems before leaving in the late nineties to join Royal Bank of Scotland. There he took on a roles as a Commercial Lending Manager and then moved on to be the Regional Director of a team dealing with clients who were having difficulties during the banking crisis, concluding his career there running the healthcare team.

Samera Finance Limited is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority and a member of the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers.

This vast amount of experience has placed him in an ideal position to not only obtain excellent financial deals for clients using his knowledge but also enables him to provide help and ideas when looking at prospective purchases. With Samera Practice Sales and an accountants team also in the group this provides us with a unique position of being able to source and finance practices as well as looking after them once the purchase has been completed.

David Hossein
David HosseinHead of Accountancy and Tax
David started out his career working for an independent accountancy practice in Manchester before moving to a top 10 practice in the North West and having worked as an FD for a company that grew very rapidly and underwent significant change David has practical hands on experience which make him an excellent person to work with. David has been responsible for leading and co-coordinating business teams of various sizes which is clearly visible from his wealth of experience in working with people. He also has accomplished experience in accounting, tax, corporate finance and management from new companies who need help starting up to those already established, who may just need a guiding hand with strategic and operational matters. David specialises in advising expanding owner-managed businesses and offering bespoke services to company directors as their businesses develop, particularly in areas of wealth creation and asset protection.

As well as his family, Davids key passions are travelling and Mountaineering. If you in the highlands or lake district over winter, you’ll be sure to spot him!

Farisa SIddique
Farisa SIddiqueDirector
Farisa began her career within the dental industry over 16 years after she literally fell into dentistry as an emergency patient and has never looked back.

She joined Ora Dental Group in 2001 as a receptionist of a busy 6 surgery private practice in Clapham with no knowledge of the business after coming from a microbiology and retail background. Within 9 months promoted to PM then went onto manage, develop and set up multiple private and specialist practices for Oasis Healthcare. Farisa ended her 11-year career as Business Development Manager for their specialist division.

She joined Apolline as a practice advisor for CQC inspections and solely developed their consultancy business. An opportunity arose to join an exciting start up Centre for Dentistry, where she undertook a dual role as Business Development Director and Managing Director for Specialisms.

She has been actively involved in training and development in specialist dentistry and developed a Treatment Coordinator programme under her company. She was approached by a number of dentists to help with their acquisitions and mergers and loved every part of process.

She has a Bsc in Microbiology, FGDP Certificate in Practice Appraisal and is a graduate from Landmark educational programmes completing their Curriculum for life in 2015.

Over the years she has gained vast experience within both corporate and independent dentistry. Farisa’s interpersonal skills, knowledge and experience are outstanding. She has built very successfully an astonishing network of colleagues, dentists, suppliers and professionals within dental arena that she is able to connect and call upon

Farisa is a natural maven and very solution orientated in both life and business and has the ability to create positivity and possibilities with every situation.

Farisa is passionate about being a contribution to society, regularly assists and coaches for Landmark. She is enjoys travelling, cooking, spinning and property investing.
